A significant portion of the evaluation may be safely conducted on an outpatient basis, if urgent follow-up care is readily available. The outpatient neurology clinic allocates 14 appointments per week for urgent TIA referrals to a vascular neurologist. Radiology and cardiology have availability for urgent MRIs and echocardiograms.

Oedema index trajectories at heart failure nurse clinics over 6 months after acute heart failure predict patient outcomes: a retrospective cohort study

After acute HF, HF nurses provide home care suggestions based on oedema status assessed at outpatient clinics. Multisegmented and multifrequency BIA-derived EIs were measured at HF nurse outpatient clinics after discharge for 6 months. Methods and results This was a retrospective cohort study.
