The electronic medical record revealed that this patient had known history including pulmonary hypertension, sickle cell disease with frequent transfusions, CHF, restrictive lung disease with chronic hypoxic respiratory failure on oxygen at home, CKD, OSA on nightly BIPAP, and chronic pulmonary embolism.
