FD residents were significantly more likely to have comorbid hypertension (OR 1.14, 95%CI 1.09, 1.19), type 2 diabetes (OR 1.21, 95%CI 1.17, 1.25), heart failure (OR 1.14, 95%CI 1.09, 1.19), and chronic kidney disease (OR 1.24, 95%CI 1.18, 1.30) associated with acute stroke hospital admission.
