The tropomyosin-troponin complex (TTC) regulates cardiac contractility by controlling cross-bridge attachments to actin filaments based on intracellular Ca2+ levels. TTC consists of tropomyosin (TPM), cardiac troponin-T (cTnT), cardiac troponin-I (cTnI), and cardiac troponin-C (cTnC).
