A simple way to estimate Trans-Aortic gradient without doppler in Aortic stenosis

Dr. S. Venkatesan MD

Here is a simple research paper on echocardiography , yet comprehensive, that assessed aortic leaflet separation distance with mean aortic gradient and valve area in patients with aortic stenosis. Kudos to the authors. It adds more pride, a validation of an important echo parameter in aortic stenosis has come from my part of the country, in a small town of Kerala.I am sure , It deserves to be published in JASE or ESC Imaging journal, which would have spread the importance of this study to more a

In Vivo Cardiovascular Molecular Imaging: Contributions to Precision Medicine and Drug Development

Circulation

Circulation, Volume 150, Issue 23 , Page 1885-1897, December 3, 2024. Conventional forms of noninvasive cardiovascular imaging that evaluate morphology, function, flow, and metabolism play a vital role in individual treatment decisions, often based on guidelines. The function of miRNAs in the immune system's inflammatory reaction to heart failure

Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine

Heart failure is the end stage of cardiovascular disease, with high morbidity and mortality rates worldwide. Heart failure is associated with long-term and insufficient inhibition of inflammatory response. miRNA is a class of endogenous, non-coding, single-stranded small RNA molecules, that can regulate gene expression through translational inhibition or degradation of targeted mRNA, widely regulate myocardial remodeling, inflammatory response, and other pathological processes, and play an impor

Uncommon presentation of left main congenital coronary aneurysm: a rare case report

Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine

Coronary aneurysm, a dilated segment of the coronary artery, is a rare condition with a prevalence ranging from 0.02% to 0.2%. According to the current literature, reports of large aneurysms in the left main artery are extremely rare.
