Wide Complex Tachycardia

David Didlake EMT-P, RN, ACNP @DidlakeDW An adult male self-presented to the ED with palpitations and the following ECG. Corresponding echocardiogram demonstrated LV systolic dysfunction with an EF 30%. The patient was very uncomfortable, dyspneic, and displayed an SpO2 90% on RA.

In the pre-hospital setting the varying modalities needed to rule-in/rule-out these causative factors are not available (eg, Chest X-ray, Echocardiogram, etc). We do have the ECG.
