Background and aims Epidemiology of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease might be different in patients with polygenic hypercholesterolemia plus high levels (≥30 mg/dl) of Lp(a) (H-Lpa) than in those with polygenic hypercholesterolemia alone (H-LDL).

A detailed query of our common inpatient and outpatient medical record was performed for medications including prescription and adherence to OAC, as well as occurrence of CVA post ablation.Results:Out of 2313 AF patients who underwent CA, 32 (1.4%) had a CVA (6 TIA, 26 stroke) within 5 years of ablation (Table 1).
