A middle-aged woman with history of hypertension presented to another hospital approximately 2 hours after onset of chest pain and shortness of breath. Compared with sustained STEMI, transient STEMI was associated with less myocardial damage, less extensive coronary artery disease, higher TIMI flow grade, and better cardiac function.
