Background:Cerebral vasospasm is a well-known complication after aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH) and occurs more commonly in younger patients. We hypothesized that intracranial atherosclerosis, which is seen predominantly in older patients, affects vasospasm risk in aSAH.
