The striking finding is the huge enlargement of the right pulmonary artery, almost aneurysmal dilatation of right pulmonary artery. This is the aortic knuckle. He was transferred to a childrens hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, where his diagnoses were confirmedCoarctation of the aorta, a hypoplastic aortic valve, a large VSD (ventricular septal defect), and an ASD (atrial septal defect). His aortic valve had begun thickening, requiring intervention to prevent further complications.
