Stent‐in‐Stent Intervention for Pulmonary Vein in Stent Restenosis: A Long‐Term Follow‐Up Case Report

Method and Results A 54-year-old man with long history of atrial fibrillations developed PVS secondary to multiple radiofrequency ablation procedures. The stenosis was treated with a stent. years later he presented with an in-stent restenosis that was successfully treated with a stent-in-stent strategy.

The patient is female in her 80s with a medical hx of previous MI with PCI and stent placement. Medical treatment for heart failure was optimized and after a few days the patient was discharged with referral to VT ablation procedure. She also has a hx of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation and is on oral anticoagulant treatment.
