Recurrent polymorphic ventricular tachycardia without chest pain: an unusual presentation of focal coronary artery spasm

The British Journal of Cardiology

This case report describes an atypical presentation of CAS in a 68-year-old white British male with cardiovascular risk factors. Coronary angiography identified moderate stenosis of the right coronary artery (RCA), without significant flow restriction by invasive pressure wire interrogation.

Abstract TP318: Comparison of Lipid-Lowering Therapies Regimens and LDL-C Profiles in Patients with Asymptomatic versus Acute Symptomatic Atherosclerotic Carotid Stenosis

Stroke Journal

Stroke, Volume 56, Issue Suppl_1 , Page ATP318-ATP318, February 1, 2025. Introduction:Elevated Low-Density-Lipoprotein Cholesterol (LDL-C) blood levels are a risk factor for atherosclerosis. Lipid-lowering therapies mitigate the risk of atherothrombotic events. were asymptomatic and 40.2% acute symptomatic.

Abstract TP220: Per-segment Evaluation of Atherosclerostic Stenosis of Intracranial Internal Carotid Artery: A hospital-based cross-sectional study

Stroke Journal

Stroke, Volume 56, Issue Suppl_1 , Page ATP220-ATP220, February 1, 2025. Background:The uneven distribution of intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis (ICAS) along the internal carotid artery (ICA) had been described in early clinicopathological studies, yet related, large-scale data is lack despite the widespread utilization of angiography.

Abstract WP347: Evaluating Brain Microvascular Endothelial Cell Dysfunction to Stenosis in a Tissue-Engineered Model of the Blood-Brain Barrier

Stroke Journal

Stroke, Volume 56, Issue Suppl_1 , Page AWP347-AWP347, February 1, 2025. Ischemic stroke, a heterogeneous disease with various etiological subtypes and risk factors, places stress on the BBB. To model stenosis, a microactuator was mounted on a 3D printed platform and connected to a capillary tube (~1 mm diameter).
