In this critique article, we will discuss the main findings of these trials, their implications and future perspectives.
The American Heart Association/American Stroke Association released a revised spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage guideline in 2022. These 15 performance measures encompass a wide spectrum of intracerebral hemorrhage patient care, from prehospital to posthospital settings, highlighting the importance of timely interventions.
A young man presented with a gunshot wound to the right chest, with hemo-pneumothorax and hemorrhagic shock. But I have seen AIVR in young people with trauma (see case below) So I sent it to Ken Grauer and here are his comments: = For clarity — I've reproduced in Figure-1 the ECG that Dr. Smith sent me ( Ken Grauer, MD — 3/7/2024 ).

Background:Several studies have shown that tranexamic acid (TXA), an anti-fibrinolytic agent, may reduce hematoma expansion (HE) in intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), but its therapeutic time window is unclear. The primary outcomes were HE, 24-hour hemorrhagic volume change, 90-day mortality and poor functional outcome. mL; 95% CI -3.15

Stroke, Volume 55, Issue Suppl_1 , Page AWP164-AWP164, February 1, 2024. Introduction:Patients who have had hemorrhagic strokes experience psychological and functional deficits after hospital discharge. Conclusion:Psychological and functional outcomes for patients with hemorrhagic strokes are associated with SDoH.
Stroke, Volume 55, Issue Suppl_1 , Page ATP168-ATP168, February 1, 2024. Objective:Disorders of consciousness (DoC) are known to correlate with worse functional outcome after hemorrhagic stroke. The primary outcome was coma (GCS ≤ 8) at time of admission. The median [IQR] ICH volume was 9.3

Hemorrhagic foci were identified using susceptibility-weighted imaging (SWI).Results:Among Results:Among 72 patients with RSSI, nearly half (n = 35, 48.6%) had hemorrhagic foci within the index RSSI lesions on follow-up SWI. versus 75.7%, P = 0.001).
Stroke, Volume 55, Issue Suppl_1 , Page ATP279-ATP279, February 1, 2024. Whether atrial cardiopathy is associated with the risk of intracranial hemorrhage in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) remains uncertain. Our primary outcomes included any intracranial hemorrhage (ICH) and symptomatic ICH (sICH) during follow-up.

Background and Purpose:Intracerebral and subarachnoid hemorrhages comprise roughly 15% of all strokes but have a higher risk of mortality and morbidity than ischemic strokes. Controlling hypertension after a hemorrhage is the primary intervention to limit the risk of hematoma expansion (HE) and the sequelae of secondary injury.
