Pulsed field ablation for atrial fibrillation: a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of research trends and emerging Frontiers

Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine

BackgroundAtrial fibrillation (AF) is the most prevalent cardiac arrhythmia worldwide, posing significant health burdens. Pulsed field ablation (PFA) is an emerging non-thermal technique that is gaining traction due to the ability to selectively target myocardial cells and minimize damage to surrounding tissues.

Optimized workflow for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation ablation using very high power short duration

Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine

The standardized workflow included general anesthesia, a single transeptal puncture trough with a bidirectional, steerable visualizable sheath introduced into the left atrium accommodated a high density, penta-spline mapping catheter and a contact force sensor ablation catheter enabled to deliver vHPSD.

Young Man with Very Fast Regular Wide Complex Tachycardia

Dr. Smith's ECG Blog

He underwent an EP study 5/10/2022 for evaluation of pre-excitation/accessory tract which found a left sided accessory pathway - he is currently in the EP study now. In my opinion — it is a mistake to interpret arrhythmias in strict "binary" fashion — since rather than "either/or" — optimal interpretation is more of a probability statement.
