The diagnostic coronary angiogram identified only minimal coronary artery disease, but there was a severely calcified, ‘immobile’ aortic valve. Aortic angiogram did not reveal aortic dissection. 6,7 Surgical repair of AS, by either TAVR or SAVR, is the definitive treatment for this condition. J Am Coll Cardiol.
