Research design and methods All patients with diabetes and CAD undergoing a coronary angiography between 2010 and 2021 according to the Swedish Angiography and Angioplasty Registry were included. Results Among all patients (n = 38,671), 31% had stable CAD, and 69% suffered an acute myocardial infarction.
